TALON Grips & Handleitgrips Alternatives: Grit Lock
Share
Looking for a TALON Grips alternative or a Handleitgrips alternative? Start with the texture you want and the exact pistol you own. INX Tactical Grit Lock Grips are removable, adhesive-backed pistol grip panels with an aggressive silicon carbide surface.
Grit Lock is an option for shooters shopping for sandpaper gun grips, granulate-style grip tape or a textured pistol grip wrap. The key decision is whether an abrasive surface fits your hands, equipment and intended use.

When to consider Grit Lock
Consider Grit Lock when you want a removable sandpaper pistol grip with silicon carbide texture and a fitment option that matches your firearm. Adhesive panels apply over the existing grip surface and can be removed when you want to change the setup.
If your priority is a softer contact surface, compare rubber-based options carefully before choosing an abrasive material. A grip that feels right during a range session may feel different against clothing or skin. Texture preference and fit are more useful starting points than choosing a brand name alone.

Four details to compare before buying grip tape
- Exact fit: match the pistol model, generation, frame size and installed grip module. A similar slide or brand name does not establish grip-panel compatibility.
- Surface feel: decide whether you want abrasive sandpaper texture, rubber or another material. Texture names vary by manufacturer.
- Kit contents: Grit Lock includes adhesive grip panels and an alcohol prep pad. Compare each manufacturer's selected kit rather than assuming all packages are identical.
- Total purchase: check the current item price, shipping, return terms and selected fitment on the product page before checkout.
