The INX Tactical Performance Tracker is a web-based app, which means you do not need to download it from the App Store. You can add it directly to your iPhone, iPad or other IOS device Home Screen and launch it just like a normal app. Apple makes things extremly difficult and very expensive to even host a free app. This way allows us to provide this for free to everyone while still maintaing the fuction of a mobile application.

Recommended Method — Safari

For the best app-like experience on IOS, we recommend using Safari.

Step 1 — Open Safari

Open the Safari browser on your IOS Device.

Step 2 — Go to the INX Tactical App

Enter the following address into the Safari address bar:

https://inxtactical.app

Allow the INX Tactical Performance Tracker to fully load.

Step 3 — Tap the Share Button

Tap the Share icon.

It looks like a square with an arrow pointing upward.

Depending on your Safari layout, the Share button may be visible near the address bar. On some layouts, you may first need to tap the More button and then select Share.

Step 4 — Select “Add to Home Screen”

Scroll down through the Share menu and tap:

If you do not see this option, scroll to the bottom, select Edit Actions, and add Add to Home Screen to your available actions. 

Step 5 — Turn On “Open as Web App”

Make sure Open as Web App is turned ON.

This allows the INX Tactical Performance Tracker to launch and operate more like a standalone app instead of simply opening as a normal Safari webpage.

Step 6 — Tap “Add”

Tap Add in the upper-right corner.

Step 7 — Open the INX Tactical App

Return to your IOS Device Home Screen.

You should now see the INX Tactical app icon.

Tap the icon anytime you want to launch the Performance Tracker.

Using Google Chrome on IOS

You can also add the INX Tactical Performance Tracker to your Home Screen using Google Chrome.

Step 1 — Open Chrome

Open the Google Chrome app on your IOS Device.

Step 2 — Open the INX Tactical App

Enter:

and allow the app to load.

Step 3 — Tap the Share Button

Tap the Share icon located to the right of the Chrome address bar.

The icon looks like a square with an upward-facing arrow. 

Step 4 — Tap “Add to Home Screen”

Scroll through the available options and select:

Google Chrome officially supports adding web apps and website shortcuts to the iPhone and iPad Home Screen. 

Step 5 — Confirm the App

You will see a preview of the Home Screen icon and app name.

Leave the name as INX Tactical or change it if desired.

Tap Add.

Step 6 — Launch the App

Return to your IOS Device Home Screen.

Tap the new INX Tactical icon to open the Performance Tracker.

You’re Ready to Go

Once added to your Home Screen, you can access the INX Tactical Performance Tracker with a single tap without having to type the website address each time.

Use the app to create customized shooting drills, track shooter performance, score multiple shooters, view shooting levels and hit factors, connect compatible Shooters Global shot timers, share shooting profiles, participate in the community, and save your shooting results.
