RMR 1° Optic Shim
When your pistol optic runs out of elevation adjustment before reaching zero, the RMR 1 Degree Optic Shim provides a simple, low-profile solution. Its tapered design changes the optic’s mounting angle by one degree, extending the usable adjustment range so the dot can be brought into alignment with the firearm’s actual point of impact.
Made from solid, high-strength ASA plastic, the shim fits RMR-footprint optics and compatible mounting systems. When properly installed, it maintains a secure mounting interface without affecting the optic’s hold.
Features
- One-degree corrective taper
- Extends the optic’s usable zeroing range
- Ideal when elevation travel is maxed out
- Compatible with RMR-footprint optics
- Solid ASA plastic construction
- Low-profile, lightweight design
- Heat- and UV-resistant material
- Maintains a secure mount when properly installed
Installation Notice
The shim increases the total mounting thickness, so longer optic screws may be required. Always verify screw length, thread engagement, clearance, and torque before use. Screws that are too short may not provide sufficient engagement, while screws that are too long may interfere with firearm components.
Compatibility and required hardware may vary depending on the optic, slide cut, adapter plate, and mounting system. After installation, confirm that all hardware is secure and properly zero the optic before use.
